With spring well settled and showing its face recently, I wanted to do a round-up of some of my favorite scents for warmer weather.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian
Gentle Fluidity Gold
A stunning fragrance by master perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, who also created the cult fave Baccarat Rouge 540. This is a clean, powdery vanilla with beautiful hints of sweetness. The juniper berries add a light freshness to this which I adore and find perfect in the hotter months.
Parfums de Marly
This fan-favorite needs little introduction! The bottle is absolutely stunning first of all. The scent is very rose forward and fresh. The addition of litchi and rhubarb add a beautifully addictive tartness to this which makes it perfect for spring/summer. It also lasts ALL day!
Poets of Berlin
This was a love at first sniff! With stunning notes of lemon and blueberry, it makes the fragrance really fresh and fruity. The bamboo adds green and aromatic nuances and the vanilla in the dry down balances everything out nicely.
A very fruity forward fresh scent. It’s incredibly crisp and juicy, reminds me of ripe berries. I pick up a lot of the blackcurrant and raspberry in this and the musk really shines through in the dry down.
Rolling in Love
This is a very gentle floral scent, it feels like a delicate kiss on your skin. It’s almondy and vanillic but the freesia and tuberose add a balanced freshness. Works beautifully in warm weather.
A stunning hibiscus tea forward fragrance. It’s very florally and fresh with sweet vanillic touches to balance out the tea note. This one is very beast mode and will last all-day
