As an avid beauty lover and professional within the space, I am lucky enough to get to try so many different products! But as a consumer, it can be overwhelming to keep up with the amount of new releases. Not to worry we have you covered! I have compiled a list of the top 10 beauty must-haves for our readers to get stuck into!
Women’s Daily Multi Complex
Beauty from within has been trending recently, although it has been something that many people remain sceptical about. When it comes to consumable products, it is always best to speak to a dietician or nutritionist to see what best suits your needs. Based on my dietitian’s recommendations I have started taking Sow Minerals to help boost my nutrition where my diet is lacking. It also helps that Sow uses such chic packaging to elevate the supplement experience.
Hair Mud Mask
During one of my many trips abroad I found the Bread Beauty Mud-Mask which is yet to launch in the UK. This mask is truly a feat of hair formulation genius. The mask is designed to help clarify the hair and provide definition to all the curly girls without leaving the hair weighed down and also soothe the scalp. I particularly love to use the Mud-Mask post-braid removal!
Sheer Skin Tint
The challenging thing with skin tints is to find your correct shade in a formula that feels weightless whilst also providing a radiant coverage. Summer Fridays have created exactly what I was looking for in 8 dynamic shades.
Clear Suncare Stick SPF50+
Sunscreen application tends to be the least favourite part of most people’s skincare routines, the Clear Suncare Stick makes for hands-free and whitecast-free application even whilst on the go. I have taken the sunstick with me to almost every country that I’ve visited and I find it does well on my skin in all climates.
Exfolikate Cleanser Daily Foaming Wash
If you would like to cut down the amount of leave on steps in your skincare routine, an exfoliating cleanser may be just what you need. The Kate Somerville Exfolikate Cleanser contains lactic acid, glycolic acid and fruit enzymes to maintain smooth and glowing skin.
Glowy Super Gel
Saie Beauty creates some of my favourite makeup products for a natural but better look! Although the Glowy Super Gel is intended to be used as part of a face base, I particularly enjoy using the shade sunglow on my body to bring a touch of holiday glow to any look I am creating.
Dew-Glow Moisturiser SPF 50
If you are on the hunt for a moisturiser/sunscreen hybrid that gives a model-off-duty glow, I cannot recommend the Naturium Dew-Glow enough for you! Unlike many other sunscreens, Naturium has combined an SPF 50 with vitamin c to give an extra boost of antioxidant goodness whilst protecting your skin from sun damage.
This Hair of Mine
Your scalp is skin too and if you want to have healthy hair you have to have a healthy scalp too! Scalp exfoliation is the key to having fresh braids, great hair growth and less scalp gunk without abrasively scratching at your scalp. THOM have created the best nourishing scalp serum to effectively take care of your scalp concerns and promote hair growth.
Cleansing & Renewing Nightime Body Wash
Another international beauty favourite for smooth is the Olay Cleansing & Renewing Nighttime Body Wash. This body cleanser contains encapsulated retinol and B3 to help smooth and maintain the skin. I managed to pick up 3 bottles of this gem during my trip to New York and I would suggest anyone living in America or making the trip there to do the same!
Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Body Oil
Sometimes the best body care products come from heritage brands that we are all familiar with. I discovered the hidden gem that is the Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Body Oil whilst looking for products to help fake a sun kissed glow. It is now a staple in my daily post-shower routine.
