Some of the best foods for stronger hair are the easiest to incorporate into your diet, the most versatile and of course, high in nutritional value.
Vitamins and minerals that you get from food can have a big impact on your hair, particularly follicle growth cycle and cell turnover. If you’re not seeing much hair growth or in fact hair loss, then tweaking your diet might be the way to go.
Fish
Fatty fish like salmon and mackerel contain loads of nutrients that help your hair. They are great sources of omega-3 fatty acids which is linked to stronger, healthier hair.
Avocados
Now this one you’ve probably already heard of and you may use hair products that contain avocado oil already. There’s no harm in getting the benefits through eating them too though! They contain a lot of Vitamin E – which is great for your hair and also helps to protect your scalp.
Nuts
Nuts are a really easy way to get the vitamins you need for stronger and luscious hair, you don’t need many – a couple of handfuls – to get nearly half your Vitamin E intake.
Spinach
Spinach is so good for you and the nutrients like folate and iron are both important for hair growth (among other things!). Getting enough iron is particularly important for women and not getting enough can lead to hair loss.
