We all know wrapping your hair is a necessity when you’ve made the effort to have it straight. It helps keep your hair bone straight for longer without the need to run straighteners through your hair, helping you to reduce the amount of heat to your strands. Wrapping your hair, however, is a skill in itself and can take some time to get right. If you haven’t been able to master the art yet, we’ve got three hacks to try, if you suck at wrapping your hair.
- Divide your hair into two sections straight down the middle or to the side if you wear a side part. Cross the sections over each other, diagonally at the back, keeping it as neat and flat as possible. Then take long hair clamp clips, and slide them in your hair on both sides, keeping your hair in place. Put your silk scarf on, then slide the clamp clips from under your hair scarf to remove them from your hair. Take your hair down the following morning, then voila, off you go to start your day.
- You’ll need silk tights for this hack. Start by dividing your hair into two sections, using your desired parting. Put the tights over your head placing the left section of your hair into the left leg of the tights then the right section, into the right leg of the tights. Cross the tights over at the back to tie it up at the front and bish, bash, bosh, your hair is wrapped!
- Part your hair down the middle or to the side if you wear a side part. Using a long silk headscarf, place it flat across your hair. Grab hold of the sectioned part of your hair, with the headscarf, cross it over at the back and tie it up at the front, making sure your hair is smoothly under the headscarf. And that’s it, wake up, get ready and go.
